Glaucoma is the leading cause of blindness in dogs.  Early diagnosis and treatment can prevent pain and increases the chance of saving vision.  Many breeds are predisposed to glaucoma (see list below), but it can affect any breed.  Yearly eye pressure checks are recommended.  Smith House Calls is offering glaucoma screening for only $15.00 in the month of January plus $54 for the house call, which includes a complete examination.  Call 440-678-VETS (8387) to schedule an appointment.
